About Louisiana 4-H!
For one week in June, 4-H’ers get a taste of competition, camaraderie and college! 4-H University, held on the LSU campus, offers Louisiana youth a chance to participate in dozens of competitive events, educational workshops and social activities. It is a culmination of the 4-H member’s year and of their hard work and dedication. 4-H U is just one of the leadership-building and life-changing opportunities 4-H offers. Youth can make memories at camp, learn responsibility through livestock projects and grow their STEM skills with special projects, all the while becoming stronger leaders and better citizens along the way.
4-H is the largest youth development program in Louisiana with clubs and groups in all 64 parishes and is administered by the LSU AgCenter. Students in fourth through 12th grade can join. Taking that simple pledge of their head, heart, hands and health can start youth on a journey that will better their futures. Join them on this journey with your donation today.
