The LSU College of Engineering has a history of more than 100 years of excellence in education and research. That legacy is furthered each year, thanks to our students and faculty who conduct cutting-edge research inside Patrick F. Taylor Hall’s state-of-the-art facilities.

Your generosity on this Giving Day will help support three of our most vital funds. Our College of Engineering Dean’s Excellence Fund provides immediate-use, unrestricted dollars that give critical support to student programs, faculty startup and research funding, lab and facilities upgrades, supplies, outreach activities, and more.

The College of Engineering Scholarship Fund allows our college to successfully recruit top-performing high school students and those for whom higher education may be out of financial reach. Through this fund, we sharpen our competitive edge in the education marketplace, broaden participation across engineering disciplines, and ensure the strength of tomorrow’s workforce.

An exciting addition this year is the Construction & Advanced Manufacturing Building Fund. The Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management is on the verge of becoming a world class leader in the field and this new building will become their home at LSU, providing extra lab and faculty space as well as increased capacity for advanced manufacturing and machining.
