Why Your Support Matters

At LSU, we build teams that win by unlocking the boundless potential of our students. The 153 hours they spend outside the classroom each week prepare them to excel both academically and beyond.

With a host of opportunities from leadership programs to internships, and engaging in Greek life, student government, and wellness activities, the LSU Division of Student Affairs crafts each experience to ensure student success. But to create these winning teams, we need your support.

Your gift helps us meet students' immediate needs, keep them on track for graduation, and positively influence the trajectory of their lives. This LSU Giving Day, your gift will strengthen the winning teams that drive the LSU Division of Student Affairs forward. Thank you for your support!

Impact Areas

Your generosity on LSU Giving Day impacts the following priority initiatives:

1. Student Life Emergency Support Fund

The LSU Student Emergency Support Fund provides immediate financial relief for students in need. These funds help students stay on the path to earning a degree during severe personal and financial crises — what a tremendous opportunity for you to positively affect the trajectory of individual lives today and whole communities tomorrow. Your gift to the Student Emergency Support Fund will impact Tigers who need it most right now.

2. LSU Campus-Wide Lagniappe Internship Opportunity Fund

You can empower LSU students to seize career-building opportunities without financial constraints. Your gift today to the Lagniappe Internship Opportunity Fund will help students overcome financial barriers as they pursue internships, transforming their future and the communities they will serve. By supporting this fund, you are investing in the potential of LSU students to achieve their career goals: a win for Louisiana and the world.

3. Bryan G. Dawson Memorial Recovery Program Fund

Your gift keeps students on the path to success on campus and in their recovery from addiction and substance abuse. Established in 2022 in memory of Bryan Dawson, the Collegiate Recovery Program at LSU reinforces students' decisions to engage in recovery and become successful graduates and engaged citizens. Help us ensure all students find a supportive community where they can thrive academically, professionally, and personally. A gift to the Collegiate Recovery Fund is an investment in the health and wellbeing of Tigers.
