Paul M. Hebert Law Center

At LSU Law, we learn more and do more because of you.

For more than a century, the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center has been educating and guiding leaders in the legal, judicial, governmental, military, and businesses communities who are passionate about creating a more just, equitable, prosperous, and peaceful world. Across every state in our great nation and in more than 30 countries around the globe, you will find successful LSU Law alumni who are making their communities better places to live.

Today’s students continue the tradition of legal excellence within and outside the Law Center, while balancing the evolving demands of law school. As the rigors and requirements of obtaining a legal education have changed, so have the costs. First-generation students, students with families, or students in the military are just a few examples of individuals facing multiple barriers to a legal education. Between tuition that tops $23,000 per year and rising living costs, a natural disaster, family emergency, or even a flat tire can be the linchpin in a law student’s career. Our students need your support beyond the four walls of a classroom. You can make a difference, not only in their legal education, but in their lives.

On this Giving Day, we are asking you to help LSU Law students, future colleagues for many of you, with:

  • Your gift to the Law General Scholarship Fund to help ease the burden of today's tuition and fees to earn an excellent legal education.
  • Your gift to the Law Center Emergency/Disaster Relief Fund, which provides financial assistance to students whose ability to complete the school year is threatened by circumstances beyond their control.
  • Your gift to the LSU Law Excellence Fund, which allows the dean to respond to emergent needs and underwrite $5 million in unfunded scholarships distributed by the Law Center each year.

Thank you for your support!
